Snippets from our Malacca Trip

They showed us how the latex was obtained from the rubber tree. When it became coagulated, it was like a piece of white 'toufu'. Then we put it in a machine and squeezed out the liquid. When this was really dry, we tried to tear it apart but we couldn't.

Leona and Vanessa were supposed to sleep in another bedroom, but Vanessa was afraid of the dark. In the end, they shared a bedroom with Hmu and me. Vanessa and I hugged each other and fell asleep.
