Our Mini Sports Day in school was really fun and exciting. All the students participated in the games. Some won medals and others won consolation prizes but it doesn't matter what prize we get. What counts is that everyone has tried his or her best and showed support for the games.
My team won the second prize in the modified softball game. I enjoyed the game. At first, I was hesitant to join in as I thought it was a tough game. When Mr Yaidi taught us how to play it, I began to love it. You just have to be quick and watchful so you can make a home run. My teammates and I were so happy to receive medals. This is something to cherish for a lifetime!
I played several games but I was still craving for more because, in the Philippines, our sports fest lasted three days! It was a big event in the school. Not only did we have a sports competition, we also had a playground demonstration. It's a dance and exercise competition. We wore our best costumes and danced to the groovy music.
Well, I think our Mini Sports Day in Endeavour Primary was successful. Everyone was happy because, aside from the games, all of us went home with a prize. It is good to see everyone gathered in our hall, working, playing and cheering as one team.
